About Melissa

 Hi! I'm Melissa, I am a professional wedding and portrait photographer offering my photography services to anywhere my clients need me! My photography studio is based out of downtown Yakima in the historical Larson building.  I am happily married to an amazing husband and we have two beautiful boys. I love to travel and often do with my family, so if your looking for a photographer who will travel you found one!

I love being able to capture those timeless moments of my clients especially when they are unaware of the camera. People ask what type of "style" I am, traditional or photojournalistic. Well, I guess you can say a little of both, but what I am really doing is capturing your story and creating images that show the love and laughter that you and your loved one's share.

 My inspiration for photography came after the birth of my oldest son. As he grew I realized capturing those first few years were very important and I enjoyed every moment behind the camera. With the loving support of my family I enrolled at the world renowned Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California. I learned to enhance my creative and technical skills as a Wedding/ Portrait photographer and received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Photography.
